Arab League Secretary General seen as possible leader of Egypt

Arab League chief Amr Moussa is seen as a possible leader of Egypt after Hosni Mubarak's overthrow.

The Secretary General of the Arab League said earlier he will resign from his post as Secretary General of the Arab League, generating speculation he will run for president.

The politician is well known in his homeland and abroad. After the announcement of the resignation of Hosni Mubarak, Moussa expressed confidence that Egyptians "are on the right track and moving toward democracy,” The Voice of Russia reported.
