Armenia, Iran to reach final agreement on oil pipeline construction in two months

Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan said that Armenia and Iran are going to reach a final agreement on Tabriz-Yerevan oil pipeline construction soon.

The Minister was in Tehran recently, where the parties reached considerable results in energy cooperation, Movsisyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“We expect that the final agreement will be reached within the upcoming two months, what will allow launching the oil pipeline construction,” Movsisyan said.

According to him, the oil pipeline will be put into operation until 2014, if the schedule is maintained.

Referring to cooperation with Iran in the field of energy, Movsisyan noted that it is at the highest level.
