Armenian musicians to join I, CULTURE youth orchestra

PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 18, Yerevan State Conservatory will host auditions of candidates to join I, CULTURE youth orchestra, a project, incorporating musicians from Poland and EU Eastern Partnership member states (Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan).

The audition will be conducted by Polish board of examiners headed by program art director Pavel Kotla, Polish Embassy in Armenia press service reported.

The idea behind the project I, CULTURE Orchestra is to develop cooperation between young musicians from Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Poland. The young players will perform in some of the most famous concert halls in Europe as part of the cultural programme of the Polish Presidency of the European Union Council. The orchestra will thus share some of the beautiful music with the world, promoting understanding and agreement despite political boundaries and cultural differences.
