RA state budget fulfilled in Jan. 2011 with AMD 20.1bln surplus

The state budget revenues amounted to AMD 57.1bln in January 2011 in Armenia, while expenditures – to AMD 36.9bln, what has secured fulfillment of the quarterly planned indices of the state budget by 31.4% and 17.7% respectively.

11.6% (AMD 6bln) growth was recorded in the state budget revenues as compared with the same period in 2010. At the same time, the tax revenues, state duties and social payments increased by 12.9% (AMD 6.1bln), while 2.3% drop was recorded in other revenues. No official grants were received during the reported period, according to the RA Ministry of Finance.

In January 2011 the state budgetary expenditures amounted to AMD 36.9bln that is 4.4% (AMD 1.7bln) lower compared to the same period in 2010.

The state budget was fulfilled with an AMD 20.11bln surplus in January 2011 against the AMD 26.7bln deficit envisaged for the first quarter.
