The number of passengers at Zvartnots Airport increased in January 2011 to total 109 055 against 87 730 compared to the same period in 2010.

According to the Central Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia, 52 270 arrived in the country during the first month of 2011 against 40 680 in January 2010. 56 785 left Armenia during the reporting period against 47 050 in that of 2010.

434 tons of cargo was transported in January 2011 against 414 tons in January 2010.

The total number of flights in the reporting period reached 696 against 642 during that of last year.
