Armenian, Polish Defense Ministries sign Cooperation Plan for 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 22-24, delegations led by the head of reforms department at the Polish National Defense Ministry and head of the National Defense Academy of Poland were on a working visit to Yerevan.

The delegations met with representatives of defense policy, staff and military education departments at the Defense Ministry of Armenia, department of strategic planning of the General Headquarters of the RA Armed Forces, as well as visited Vazgen Sargsyan Military Institute.

The parties discussed experience exchange in the fields of defense reforms and strategic review of defense, as well as bilateral cooperation in the field of military education.

On February 24, Armenian First Deputy Minister of Defense David Tonoyan received the Polish delegations. Praising the level of the Armenian-Polish cooperation in the field of defense, Tonoyan pointed to outlooks for developing the cooperation and implementing projects in the fields presenting mutual interest.

The RA Defense Ministry’s press service reported that as part of the Polish delegations’ visit to Yerevan a Plan of Bilateral Cooperation was signed between the RA Defense Ministry and Polish National Defense Ministry for 2011.
