Armenia to import Indian medicines

A symposium with the theme of “India-Armenia: buyers-sellers meet” kicked off in Yerevan.

The event organized by the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council Pharmexcil brought together manufacturers, exporters and importers of drugs.

According to Deputy Minister of Healthcare Tigran Sahakyan, the goal of the symposium is to establish contacts between Armenian and India pharmaceutical organizations. “We gathered to encourage ties between Armenian and Indian companies for further exchange of experience,” Sahakyan said.

He also noted that presently the matter concerns import of Indian drugs to Armenia.
