Austria urges Karabakh conflict parties to pursue OSCE MG efforts

PanARMENIAN.Net - Austria actively encourages both parties to the Karabakh conflict to pursue efforts in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger stated during his speech on Austria’s foreign policy focus on the Black Sea and Caucasus region.

As the Foreign Minister stressed, Austria is ready to support the peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict.

“In my discussions with my Armenian and Azerbaijani colleagues I called on the parties to redouble their efforts to find a negotiated solution,” he said.

The minister noted that the countries of the region have been hampered for too long from realizing their potential due to unresolved political conflicts, Austrian Foreign Ministry press service reported.
