ARMENIA AND KARABAKH SPEAK FROM UNITED POSITION
YEREVAN, April 3. /Mediamax/. Armenia and Karabakh speak from a united position in the issue of Karabakh regulation.
Armenian President Robert Kocharian said this answering the questions of the "hot line" of the "Golos Armenii" paper. The President stressed that for rather a long time Armenia was adhering to a position that was saying: "we shall agree with any form of regulation, which will be acceptable for Karabakh," and this approach has become a contra-productive in a certain phase.
"There was an impression that Armenia was ready for any form of regulation, and it was Karabakh, to be clear- the Karabakh leaders, that were creating problems,"Robert Kocharian explained.
He noted that Karabakh might speak from harsh positions, "but the position of Armenia must be clearly and accurately formulated." Robert Kocharian said that he was rising the issue about the necessity of presence of the Karabakh party at the negotiations during all the meetings.
"The time will come when I will be able to give more concrete explanations to the situation, but presently the skills of the negotiation process does not allow us to reveal everything," the Armenian President said.
Robert Kocharian answered the questions of the "hot line" before leaving for Florida where his negotiations with Heydar Aliyev are to start today.--0--
