Famous French singer Lara Fabian accepted an invitation for another tour to Armenia, promising to perform a song in Armenian during her next visit.

As the singer told a news conference in Yerevan, she takes special pleasure in familiarizing herself with the culture of different countries. The songstress regretted the fact that she won’t be able to familiarize herself with Armenian culture. During her travels, the songstress said, she had many chances to meet Armenians. Her last meeting was with Armenian dudukist Jivan Gasparyan, who worked with her on creation of Mademoiselle Zhivago album.

Dwelling on her concert in Yerevan, Fabian said she’ll be happy to share her energy with Armenians, despite ever present fear when performing for the new audience. The singer’s concert will feature popular lyrical compositions.

In response to the question about Eurovision 2011, Fabian noted that she didn’t have time to listen to the song of the Armenian contestant, yet promised to share her opinion as soon as she does.

The songstress herself participated in the contest at the age of 18 and believes the Eurovision to be a fair opportunity to appear on the international scene.

On March 18, Lara Fabian will perform a concert in Yerevan within the framework of Francophonie Days in Armenia.
