Two agricultural programs to be submitted to Armenian parliament

In near future, two important agricultural programs will be submitted to the Armenian National Assembly, according to the head of parliamentary committee on agriculture and nature preservation.

As Khachik Harutyunyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the first program, Development of Agricultural Possibilities is aimed at the development of gardening, agricultural infrastructure, manufacture-sale chain. USD 52 million was allocated to program implementation.

The second program, Management of Communities’ Agricultural Possibilities and Competitiveness will be directed at the development of animal husbandry in 55 rural communities and regions of Armenia. USD 20 million was provided for program development.

In this context, Harutyunyan specifically stressed the long-expected support of the government in implementation of current programs.
