Karl Lamers specifies reasons preventing Georgia’s NATO accession

Conflicts on the territory of Georgia are the main hindrance on the country’s way to NATO accession, NATO PA President Karl Lamers stated in Tbilisi.

The undersecretary of Georgia’s State Security Council Batu Kutelia, agreed with Mr. Lamers’ position on the fact that conflicts are the main challenge in Georgia’s NATO bid.

As he noted, NATO’s involvement in the settlement of conflicts will be discussed in the framework of NATO PA Rose Roth seminar, Georgia Online reported.
