As the lawyer of Business Software Alliance in Armenia, Narine Mkrtchyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the licensed software is used only by the Ministries of Justice and Education, while others are using pirated production. As Ms. Mkrtchyan noted, a progress in use of licensed software in business sector was reported, with about 70% of banks and 100% of enterprises using licensed Microsoft programs. The lawyer urged the government and business companies to use licensed programs to secure themselves against technical problems and hacker attacks.
