Armenian PM opens Construction and Repair EXPO 2011

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan opened the 8th specialized exhibition in Yerevan - Construction and Repair EXPO 2011.

According to Sargsyan, the exhibition will facilitate the construction industry development in Armenia. “We have serious plans in the construction industry, and hopefully this exhibition will make its contribution to the field development,” he said.

After the opening ceremony, Sargsyan toured the exhibition pavilions and familiarized himself with products of the companies represented at the exhibition, the RA governmental press service reported.

The exhibition is available on April 8-10 at Karen Demirchyan Sports & Concerts Complex. It brought together over 100 leading companies in the market: investment and construction companies, design organizations, etc, and over 30% of them are foreign participants.

The largest construction brands from Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Iran and a range of other countries will be represented at the exhibition.

The exhibition is organized through the official support of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia, RA Ministry of Economy, Union of Constructors of Armenia, Union of Designers of Armenia and Union of Architects of Armenia. The exhibition is organized by LOGOS EXPO Center.
