China intends to import Armenian brandy, Li Changchun statesApril 12, 2011 - 11:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is interested in the development of multidirectional relations with China, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated at the opening of Armenia-China business forum. The Prime Minister characterized the forum as one of the most large-scale events organized between the two courtiers. Stressing the high level of Armenia-China political relations, Mr. Sargsyan expressed hope for similarly successful cooperation in economy sector. He noted the mining and chemical production, tourism, development of infrastructures, agriculture and high technologies as priority spheres. A member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China, Li Changchun, in turn, stressed that certain steps must be undertaken to balance bilateral trade. He emphasized China’s interest in the import of Armenian products, specifically brandy. The forum was organized by the Armenian Development Agency in cooperation with Armenian Economy Ministry.
