Serge Smessov appointed as representative of France to Eastern Partnership and BSECApril 12, 2011 - 12:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The former Ambassador of France to Armenia Serge Smessov was appointed as the representative of France to Eastern Partnership and BSEC (Black Sea Economic Cooperation) organisations. As the French Foreign Ministry press service reported, the appointment confirms France’s support for Eastern Partnership program implementation and development of cooperation is Black Sea region. The press release stresses the extensive diplomatic experience of Smessov, who held ambassadorial positions in France, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.
