ARMENIA MUST COOPERATE WITH NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES, EX PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA THINKS
YEREVAN, March 1. /Mediamax/. "To stand on its feet the country has to come out of isolation and stop being an intermediate territory", Armenian ex-president Levon Ter-Petrosian thinks.
Armenian ex-president stated this in the interview to French "l'Express" weekly, published by Yerevan "Azg" daily today. The office of ex-president Ter-Petrosian notified that "a September 2000 meeting between Ter-Petrosian and the correspondent of l'Express Silven Pasque was presented as an interview".
"Only peace and raising the blockade will allow Armenia to stand on its feet through cooperation with its neighbors, including Turkey. Taken separately, none of the South Caucasian countries interests potential investors. But together Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan will have 15 million population. In this case, I am sure, there will be a big inflow of foreign investments", ex-president of Armenia said. --0--
