NAGORNO KARABAKH COMMEMORATES THE 13TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SLAUGHTER OF ARMENIANS IN SUMGAYIT
YEREVAN, February 28. /Mediamax/. Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) commemorated today the 13th anniversary of the Armenian massacres in the Azeri town of Sumgayit.
The speaker of the National Assembly of NKR, Oleg Yesayan, members of parliament and government of the republic, the officers of NKR Defense Army came to the memorial complex of Stepanakert to honor the memory of the innocent victims of the slaughter in 1988. Hundreds of people laid flowers on the monument to the victims of the tragedy in Sumgayit. Priests of the Artsakh diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church served a mourning mass. --0--
