NEW PROPOSALS ON KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT ARE FAVORABLE FOR ARMENIA
YEREVAN, February 27. /Mediamax/. Vice-speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Tigran Torosian thinks new approaches to the Karabakh conflict resolution will greatly differ from the previous proposal of the OSCE Minsk Group, made in 1998.
Tigran Torosian reminded Armenian President's words that France in fact made new proposals on Karabakh conflict settlement, which are favorable for Armenia.
In 1998 the OSCE Minsk group co-chairmen worked out the proposal with the "common state" concept, which was accepted by Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh as a negotiations basis and was rejected by Azerbaijan. On February 23 Heydar Aliyev said in Milli Majlis that all the three proposals of the OSCE Minsk Group are unacceptable for Azerbaijan. --0--
