The surgery of European and world weightlifting champion Nazik Avdalyan that lasted for five hours has finished at Erebuni medical center.

She has been taken to the resuscitation department, a relative of Navdalyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. According to doctors, the surgery went well; Avdalyan has recovered senses.

“Avdalyan had a lumbar injury and comminuted fracture of the first vertebra,” head of the resuscitation department at Erebuni medical center Harutyun Mangoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Nazik Avdalyan got in a car crash on Yerevan-Gyumri motorway on April 26.
