SECOND MEETING OF ARMENIAN-UKRAINIAN COMMISSION ON ECONOMIC COOPERATION TO BEGIN IN YEREVAN ON FEBRUARY 20
YEREVAN, February 16. /Mediamax/. The second meeting of the Joint intergovernmental Armenian-Ukrainian commission on economic cooperation issues under the leadership of its co-chairmen - chairman of the State committee of industrial policy of the Ukraine, Vladimir Novitsky and the Minister of Industry and Trade of Armenia Karen Cheshmaritian - will be held in Yerevan on 20-21 February. Mediamax was informed in the Embassy of the Ukraine in Armenia.
The main highlight of the meeting is the preparation of economic constituent of the official visit of the President of Armenia Robert Kocharian to Ukraine, planned on 1-2 March 2001. It is planned that during this meeting the projects of the Agreement between the Ukraine and Armenia on economic cooperation for 2001-2010, as well as the Interstate program of long-term economic cooperation between Ukraine and Armenia for 2001-2010 and Measures for its realization will be initialed with the aim of the later signing of these documents on the top level.
Besides, the Intergovernmental commission will consider a wide range of questions concerning the further consolidation of Armenian-Ukrainian trade-economic relations in such spheres as industry, energy, transport, etc. -0-
