TRIAL OF "OCTOBER 27" CASE BEGAN IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, February 15. /Mediamax/. Today, at 12:00 in local time, the legal proceedings over the case of "October 27" began in Yerevan in the courtroom of the Cassation Court of Armenia.

On the approaches to the court building, where the session is held, increased police cordon is placed. More than 200 adherents of "Unity" bloc have displayed black transparencies here, condemning the terrorist act of Nairi Hunanian's gang, which was perpetrated on October 27, 1999 in the chamber of the National Assembly of Armenia. As a result of this crime the Speaker of the Armenian parliament, the Prime Minister, officials of the government and parliament of the country were killed. -0-
