Armenians suffered a 0-3 defeat by Turkey in the second round of Cairo-hosted Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group II.

Anna Movsisyan was beaten by Pemra Ozgen 2:6, 3:6. Ani Amirganyan yielded to Cagla Buyukakcay 3:6, 2:6. Amirganyan and Movsisyan in pair were defeated by Ipek Senoglu and Melis Sezer.

In the next round, Armenia will play against Bosnia & Herzegovina.
