Armenia, Germany discuss Armenia-EU cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 11, consultations between Armenian and German foreign ministries launched at Armenian Foreign Ministry.

The consultations focused on bilateral political dialogue, trade and economic ties, consular relations. Representatives of Armenia and Germany discussed cooperation in the framework of international organizations and the situation with Armenian peacemaking mission in Afghanistan. By request on the German side, Yerevan presented its position on regional issues.

Armenia-EU cooperation, the process of Association Agreement were on consultations agenda. During discussions, Armenian side emphasized the importance of steps aimed at visa regime facilitation. The next consultations are due in 2012 in Berlin, ministerial press service reported.
