02.02.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Head of the OSCE Yerevan office, Ambassador Roy Reeve said today that the OSCE Office in Yerevan carries out an active work on coordination of development of a strategy combating corruption in Armenia.
Speaking at a press conference in Yerevan, Ambassador Reeve noted that the strategy will be worked out in cooperation with a special working group, in which representatives of Armenian government and international organizations are included. The head of the OSCE office said that "Armenia is a small country, and if there is a political will, significant results can be achieved in the fight against corruption".
Ambassador Reeve stressed that in the course of his meetings with the President and Prime Minister of Armenia he was asserted that the top leadership of the country is disposed to decisive fight against corruption. --0--
