On May 18, Armenian Police Chief Alik Sargysan met with the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch.

At the meeting, Mr. Sargsyan gave high assessment to expansion of the U.S. Embassy cooperation with the Armenian police, which has significantly affected the process of reforms in Armenia's police system.

As Ms. Yovanovitch, who will soon complete her diplomatic mission in Armenia, noted, the Embassy's support for the Armenian police reforms will continue, the Armenian police press service reported.
