Georgia to rehabilitate building of Tbilisi State Armenian Dramatic Theater

Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan met with Georgian Minister of Culture and Monument Protection Nikoloz Rurua to discuss cooperation in the field of culture.

Referring to restoration of the building of Tbilisi State Armenian Dramatic Theater after Petros Adamyan, Rurua said the Georgian side has solved the matter of financing and design works will be launched soon. They will be followed by rehabilitation works.

Besides, restoration of two Armenian churches (Saint Nshan and Saint Norashen churches) located in Tbilisi was in the focus of the meeting.

Referring to the Armenian-Georgian cultural ties, Manukyan attached importance to organization of regular meetings with representatives of the two countries’ intelligentsia. The Georgian Minister noted that similar meetings will be especially useful for young generation.
