Armenia’s each user of Opera Mini browses 1,347 pages on average per month

PanARMENIAN.Net - Opera Software published monthly data for Opera Mini browser. In April 2011, Opera Mini had over 107.1 million users, a 4.6% increase from March 2011.

This month’s State of the Mobile Web focuses how people use social media on mobile devices. Opera Software saw that a significant portion of Opera Mini users choose to participate on social networks.

The top 10 countries using Opera Mini in the CIS region are Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.

From April 2010 to April 2011, page views in the top 10 countries of the CIS increased by 198%, unique users increased by 65% and data transferred increased by 176%, opera.com reported.

Uzbekistan and Belarus lead the top 10 countries of the region in terms of page-view growth (744.3 % and 400.2 %, respectively). Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan lead the top 10 countries of the region in growth of unique users (250.8 % and 186.5 %, respectively). Belarus and Uzbekistan lead the top 10 countries of the region in growth of data transferred (537.1 % and 511.2 %, respectively). Armenia leads the top 10 countries of the region in page views per user, with each user browsing 1,347 pages on average each month.

Among the countries of the CIS, the most popular sites include Vkontakte, Yandex, Odnoklassniki.ru, Google, and Mail.ru. Opera Software also looked at the top 10 handsets used in each of the top 10 CIS countries. Out of the 100 total handsets listed, 86 of them were Nokia, 6 of them were Sony Ericsson, 6 of them were Samsung and 2 of them were Apple.
