RPA: Sargsyan-Aliyev meeting in Kazan won’t be crowned with agreement

It’s not ruled out that the meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Kazan will bring the sides’ positions closer but it will hardly be crowned with signature of any agreement, according to Artak Zakaryan, member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.

Commenting on the statement adopted in Deauville by the Presidents of France, U.S. and Russia, Mr. Zakaryan said that “the Deauville statement fixed all what has been achieved during the negotiation process.”

“It’s important that the document mentions the progress registered in talks. It also emphasized that military solution is inadmissible,” he said.
