Slate magazine names Arsinee Khanjian best actress

Jennifer Love Hewitt has attained the unwanted accolade of worst-reviewed actress in Hollywood over the last 25 years, The Telegraph reported.

An analysis of reviews showed that her movies, which have included two Garfield productions, Sister Act 2, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, had the lowest average appreciation scores for any female star. Hewitt, 32, can take solace in having been nominated for a Golden Globe for her television work.

Action star Chuck Norris, who has appeared in films including The Delta Force and Missing in Action, was the actor with the worst reviewed movies.

French star Daniel Auteuil, who starred in Jean de Florette, was the best reviewed actor.

Arsinee Khanjian, an Armenian-Canadian actress known for appearing in Ararat was the best actress.

Mike Leigh's films scored the highest of any director.

The analysis was carried out by Slate magazine which analyzed review scores on the Rotten Tomatoes film website.
