The number of passengers at Zvartnots Airport increased in January-May 2011 to total 526 634 against 494 509 compared to the same period in 2010.

According to the Central Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia, 233 360 people arrived in the country during in January-May 2011 against 218 846 during the same period of 2010. 293 274 left Armenia during the reporting period against 275 663 in that of 2010.

3,1thous. tons of cargo was transported in January-May 2011 against 3thous. tons during the same period of 2010.

The total number of takeoffs and landings in the reporting period reached 3510 against 3373 during that of last year.
