ANC leader, U.S. State Department rep discuss Armenia's internal policy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader Levon Ter-Petrossian met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor at the United States Department of State Thomas Melia in Yerevan.

At the request of Mr. Melia, ANC leader briefed him on democracy and anti-corruption struggle perspectives in Armenia. Mr. Ter-Petrossian noted snap presidential and parliamentary elections as the principal way towards settlement of current issues in the country.

Representatives of ANC central bureau Levon Zurabyan, David Shahnazaryan and Avetis Avakian also attended the meeting, ANC press service reported.
