  LARGEST INTERNET PROVIDER OF ARMENIA UNDER ATTACK OF INDONESIAN HACKERSDecember 20, 2000 - 16:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 20.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack was launched yesterday, December 19, against Arminco Company - the largest Internet Provider of Armenia. As Mediamax was informed in "Arminco", the attacker (one of the identified hosts belongs to the Indonesian ISP) sent a packet storm creating a heavy traffic thus compromising the availability of their connection outside.
