  Ministry of Culture to invite Gabriel Garcia Marquez to Armenia  June 15, 2011 - 17:10 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The Ministry of Culture will invite world-famous writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez to visit Armenia, the Ministry’s PR department told PanARMENIAN.Net The invitation will be timed to Yerevan 2012 World Book Capital event. On June 9, the members of Invite Marquez to Armenia initiative addressed an official letter to Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, requesting to invite the writer to Armenia. 2500 people joined the initiative.
