Federer ousts Nalbandian from Wimbledon

World number 3, Swiss Roger Federer cruised past Argentinean David Nalbandian, ranked 23rd in the world, in straight sets 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 in the third round of Wimbledon Championships at the All England Club in London.

It took Federer just an hour and 46 minutes to overpower his opponent, according to bettor.com.

The Swiss broke Nalbandian in the third game of the first set and consolidated on it to take a 3-1 lead. The Argentinean broke back in the sixth game and equalized the score at 3-3. Federer broke again in the very next game and this time the Swiss legend did not allow Nalbandian to break back, serving out the set at 5-4.

Commenting on his performance, Federer said, "I thought today was a particularly good performance by my side, on my serve again. I think I played a great match." The Swiss added, "I'm using basically everything in my arsenal, the slice, the drive and so forth. I've been playing really well. I've gotten through the matches comfortably and that's very nice."
