Come Home program first stage to complete in Aghveran

The first stage of Come Home (Ari Tun) program organized by the Armenia’s Ministry of Diaspora will complete on June 30, in Aghveran Karin camp, according to the Ministry’s press office.

Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan will take part in the event, during which the program participants will share impressions and present national songs and dances they have learned in Armenia. Also, they will gather around campfire and have a talk with Ms. Hakobyan and composer Robert Amirkhanyan.

This year the program will last till September 25 and will be comprised of 10 stages. The program will embrace 800 young representatives from the Armenian Diaspora. Besides, it underwent some changes: the campers will live some 10 days in host families, and 4 days in the camp in Aghveran.

The first stage of Come Home program hosted 81 children from France, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Australia, Georgia, Spain, who will be accommodated in Nor Nork, Ajapnyak, Kanaker-Zeytun, Shengavit, Erebuni, Malatsia-Sebastia, Arabkir, Davitashen, Avan as well as in the communities of Vedi, Aintap, Kharberd of Ararat province.
