Canada withdraws its troops from Afghanistan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 7, Canada has completed officially its military mission in Afghanistan as part of International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), according to RIA Novosti.

The document on transference of Canadian responsibility for provision of security in Kandahar to U.S. was signed on Kandahar Air Field military base.

Canadians started their military mission in Afghan South province Kandahar in 2002, 157 military men have been killed since then, including a diplomat, two officials from non-commercial organizations and a journalist.
