North Caucasian Youth Forum participants in Pyatigorsk get familiar with Armenia and Artsakh

On July 17, the evening of the Republic of Armenia took place July 17 within Mashuk 2011 North Caucasian Youth Forum in Pyatigorsk.

All the republics of the North Caucasus had opportunity to present their country. Armenian delegation participating in the forum decided to arrange mini-evening dated to Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh Republic. According to head of Armenian delegation Tigran Kocharyan, Armenian Diaspora of Pyatigorsk amounting to about 40.000 Armenians assisted in organization of the event.

As PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reports from the spot, two presentations have been held within the framework of Armenian evening. The first one aimed to present two Armenian states, that is, Republic of Armenia and Republic of Artsakh, showing famous sightseeing, revealing interesting facts from history; the second presentation was about renowned Armenians all over the globe. A brain-ring tournament was arranged within the evening, headed by Chair of Armenian Experts’ Association Tigran Konharyan.

At the end of the meeting all guests have been gifted books about Artsakh. Mashuk-2011 the North Caucasian youth forum is a social project directed on revealing and training the best youth representatives in the North Caucasian federal district, interested in politics economics, innovations, public campaigns, mass actions, civil initiatives, art and creativity.

A delegation from Armenia included PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent Hayk Khalatyan, Armenian blogger, expert for information security Tigran Kocharyan as well as representative from Rossotrudnichestvo in Armenia Yekaterina Zherenko.
