Armenian society demands resignation of the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.67 people have already joined the Facebook group demanding for resignation of the Catholicos. A poll was conducted to assess public support for Karekin II excommunication. 1560 favored the idea, while 221 voted against.

The public mood was triggered by Karekin II’s statement, where he said, “I don’t care about the churches located in the mountains,” when asked to address the issue of Sanahin monastery complex.
