In the 4th round of 2011 World Team Chess Championship 2nd round Armenia won a smashing 3,5:0,5 victory over Egypt.Gabriel Sargissian vs. Samy Shoker match was the only tie of the winning Armenian team.

Upon completion of the 4th round, Armenian team regained the leadership with 11 points to its score.
