Armenian Defense Ministry: Baku should carry out international investigations instead of blaming Yerevan “in Azeris killing”

PanARMENIAN.Net - It became habit for Azerbaijani media outlets to spread information about killed or injured citizens or military men as a result of shooting on the part of Armenians, according to David Karapetyan, Press Secretary of the Armenian Defense Minister.

Azerbaijani media would be more reasonable to publish statistics of infringing fire cease regime on the part of Azeri armed forced, which became more frequent for several months, said Karapetyan commenting on the recent Azeri publication regarding shooting during which Armenian armed forces injured Azeri woman.

Not long ago, July 26, 18:20, two contractor military men of Armenian armed forces Karen Ghukasyan (born in 1976) and Manvel Vanesyan (born in 1987) being on the post in Tavush province of Armenia, got injuries from fractions of a concrete wall, ricocheting Azeri bullets.

Press Secretary of the Armenian Defense Minister underscored that the Armenian party continues to follow the fire cease regime and resorts to response actions only in emergency cases. And if as a result of such actions as responded to Azeri armed forces citizens of Azerbaijan suffer, the responsibility is totally laid on Azerbaijan. “By the way, Baku may address respective bodies to carry out investigations,” Karapetyan stressed.

Azerbaijani media outlets spread misinformation, according to which “a 22-year old Azeri woman died as a result of shooting from the Armenian side”.

The incident is recorded on July 27, 15.40. The woman Nailya Poladova got hand injury, lost much blood and was operated on but the condition still remains unsatisfactory, according to Aze.az.
