Elina Danielian scores 1st win at FIDE Women's Grand Prix 3rd round

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Elina Danielian scored her first win in new series of FIDE Women's Grand Prix.

In the 3rd round of Russia-hosted championship, Danielian beat Russia’s Ekaterina Kovalevskaya to gain 1 point.

After a tie, a loss and a win in 1st to 3rd rounds, the grandmaster is 7th with 1,5 points. China’s Hou Yifan is leading the tournament with 3 points, followed by Slovenia's Anna Muzychuk and Russia's Nadezhda Kosintseva with 2 points each.

Danielyan will face Tatiana Kosintseva (Russia) in the 4th round of the championship.
