Manoyan: Turkey’s interference won’t affect Armenian-Syrian relations

The possibility of Turkey’s interference in the domestic conflict in Syria is rather high, according to head of ARF Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office.

“Turkey’s intervention will certainly influence regional processes but it will not affect the status quo in the Armenian-Syrian relations,” Kiro Manoyan told a press conference on August 16.

Hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed in Syria since the unrest began in mid-March.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu on August 15 issued a stark warning to Syrian authorities to immediately halt military operations across the country or he said there will be nothing left to talk about the steps that would be taken.
