FOREIGN MINISTER OF ARMENIA STARTS HIS TOUR TO 3 SCANDINAVIAN STATES TOMORROW
23.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian starts his tour to the three Scandinavian states - Norway, Sweden and Finland tomorrow, on October 24.
As was reported to Mediamax in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Oskanian will leave for Oslo tomorrow to meet with the king of Norway Harald V. Vardan Oskanian will also meet in Norway with his counterpart T. Yagland, Chief of Norwegian development agency, director of Frityof Nansen Institute.
On October 25-26 the head of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia will visit Swedish capital Stockholm. On October 25 he will meet with the foreign minister of Sweden A. Lind, on October 26 V. Oskanian will meet with the speaker of the Swedish Rickstag, the chief director of the Swedish development agency. Foreign Minister of Armenia will also speak in the Swedish Trade Council and in the International Relations Institute of Sweden.
During his visit to Finland on October 26-28 V. Oskanian will meet with the president of Finland Tarya Halonen and foreign minister of Finland Erki Tuomija. In Helsinki Armenian Foreign Minister will also hold meetings with ministers of foreign trade and ecology of Finland.
During the tour agreements on air communication of Armenia with Norway, Sweden and Finland will be signed.
Vardan Oskanian will return to Armenia on October 28. -0-
