Specialists say that newest equipment and innovative technologies as well as unprecedented technical solutions make the unit unique not only in the region but also in the world. The construction of the power unit will enable to use 270 grams of conventional fuel against 1kw/h energy, which in its turn will decrease the prime cost of power produced in thermal plants. It will enable Armenia to settle the issues in the domestic market and take a deserved place in the region in terms of generation, transit and supply of power. Due to this, flexibility and reliability of the Hrazdan power unit, backbone network and power system of the republic on the whole considerably grew.
