Those responsible for soldier Aghasi Abrahamyan’s death identified, Minister saysAugust 30, 2011 - 16:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said that the Ministry does its utmost to minimize the number of accidents in the armed forces. “The least number of accidents in the army was registered in 2007. However, in 2010 the statistics worsened. In the first six months of 2011 the number of accidents decreased compared to the same period in 2010,” Ohanyan told journalists in Noemeryan, Tavush region of Armenia. Commenting on the latest incident when soldier Aghasi Abrahamyan was unconscious brought to a military hospital and then died, the Minister said that the medical expertise revealed the signs of violence on Abrahamyan’s body. “Those responsible for the soldier’s death have been already identified,” he said.
