Brandy production grew by 19,6% in Armenia

6772,1 thousand liters of brandy was produced in Armenia in January-July 2011, which is 19,6% more compared to the same period in 2010 (5660,4 thousand liters).

According to the National Statistical Service, 3399,5 thousand liters of vodka was produced in the same period, which is 29,3% less than in same period in 2010. 3377,6 liters of wine was produced in January-July 2011 against 2867,7 thousand liters in 2010 (17,8% growth).

During the reporting period, beer production made 8997,1 thousand liters, which is 5,8% less against 9555,9 thousand liters in January-July 2010. Production of champagne grew by 5,4% totaling 130,5 thousand liters.

In 2011, production of soft drinks in Armenia grew by 2,8% totaling 20237,3 thousand liters.
