As to tariffs, if a subscriber wants to call Armenia from Artsakh, then VivaCell-MTS subscriber pays AMD140 per minute. Tariffs for Orange Armenia and ArmenTel are set at AMD165 and AMD170 respectively. The point is not which of the operators is cheaper. The point is that the expression “Call Armenia from Artsakh” is itself inaccurate, not speaking about the absurd expression “roaming for Artsakh.” In fact mobile operators themselves create the stereotype that there are Armenian people and there are Karabakh people.
