On October 6 a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding will be signed in Yerevan between the U.S. government and the mayors of 9 cities of Armenia - Gyumri, Vanadzor, Alaverdi, Sevan, Ijevan, Yeghegnadzor, Kapan and Sisian, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan. The Memorandum will mark the beginning of a $4.2 million USAID program for local self-government institutions. This three-year program aims to assist institutions of local self-government.
