Karekin II: Diaspora, Armenia must unite for development

PanARMENIAN.Net - All-Armenian Forum dedicated to 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence kicked off on September 19 in Yerevan.

During his opening speech, the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia His Holiness Aram I urged Armenia and Diaspora to join efforts in resolving such problems as corruption, improvement of the quality of life, consolidation of the victory in Artsakh war. “Armenia and Diaspora must form a common mentality,” he stressed.

His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, in turn, appreciated highly the Armenia-Diaspora ties, as well as unified struggle for development of Armenia.

550 representatives from 46 countries and 151 organizations are attending the forum.
